Convicting "The Office" Re-runs

Brad and I started watching "The Office" again last week. It is excruciatingly painful for me to watch this show. If there is a Facebook quiz going around, and I'm sure there is, about which Office character are you, I'd be Michael Scott! It's horrible and embarrassing, but it's true.

I am even going to apply a lesson Oscar tried to teach Michael to my own life. In the episode "Money" Oscar tries to help Michael with his debt. He creates a graph with 3 bars. The smallest is for necessities, the next largest is for optional things (I can't remember the term Oscar used). Then there is a 3rd column that is at least twice as big and it is for "things that nobody every needs."

I think I spend my time the way Michael spends his money. If I were to track and then graph how I spend my time I bet most of my time would be spent doing "things that nobody ever needs to do."

I've been feeling overwhelmed and as if there are aren't enough hours in my day, so tomorrow I am going to pay attention and spend my time in only the first 2 categories. I'll let you know how it goes.
